Like Stevie Wonder and Jeff Buckley thrown in a blender, Indie Soul Balladeer Dechen Hawk creates music that ranges from beautiful ballads to gritty throwback funk and soul. He believes conscious music has the power to heal and transform humanity for the better. Hawk's call pierces the state of unawareness and asks you to speak the truth. 

Though musical his whole life, it wasn’t until the death of his father when he was 14, and the search for a way to express that loss, that Hawk found his calling as a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His desire to create and express the joy and fragility of life has kept him busy for the past 25 years performing locally and internationally. 

His work creates community by bringing people together from all walks of life to do something they all have in common and enjoy.

Sqwerv was born out of an open jam at the historic Denver bar El Chipultepec, but it was in the music program at CU Denver that the pieces began to fall into place. Guy Frydenlund and Caden Kramer met in a music theory class, and within a few jam sessions the pair quickly realized their musical similarities. During this early era they set the foundation for Sqwerv’s free, meaningful, playful, and often experimental notion of this band.

As time progressed Sqwerv transitioned and evolved into its full form with the addition of the spaghetti-haired drummer Zach Bulgarelli and ‘The Janitor’ Jack Marty on the keys. With Bulgarelli’s expertise on the skins and degree from the same CU Denver music program, he brings incredibly tight and complex rhythms that push the band and audience further into the experience. The new sonic thickness from Marty’s ivory tickling talents bring Sqwerv an enriched sonic palette and on top of being a tech wizard he’s got the harmonies taboot.

This groovy 4 piece Indie-Psych-Rock band took their passion for classic rock and psychedelic music, fused it with a dose of funk and created a sound that is refreshingly original. When Sqwerv takes the stage their songwriting shines as audiences are taken on a ride through surreal stories, ethereal blooming guitar solos and bellowing bumblebee baselines. From small packed smokey bars, to theaters, and festival stages this unique quintet strives to continue moving peoples souls and bodies through heartfelt music.

Tim Ostdiek is an uplifting folk musician that encapsulates the soul of The Heartland. 

A finalist in esteemed songwriting events such as Telluride Troubadour and Folksfest Songwriting Showcase, Tim’s engaging music, combined with clever and thoughtful lyrics, continue accumulating fans, albums, and accolades. 

His latest album, “The Lost Days”, is a contemplative concept album that takes you on a journey of his younger self into older age and highlights a mix of introspection and vulnerability. With the help of Ben Hibberd (drums), Chad Mathis (bass), Jenny Balagna (harmonies), Amy Ostdiek (violin), and David Ford (lead guitar), “The Lost Days” has a sound that compliments Tim’s heartfelt lyrics. 

“Temporary Home” and “Roots Below” are two other albums that show Tim’s musicianship and songwriting ability. 

Originally from Nebraska, and now a long-time Colorado resident, Tim has become a staple in Longmont, CO, and along The Front Range for his musicianship, lyricism, and professionalism.

Formed in 2019, Stylie is a group of Boulder based musicians who took their love for authentic roots reggae music and began crafting a unique sound. Modern synth sounds, heavy drums, fat bass, and catchy melodic hooks are staples of their independent studio, Dub Farm Records.

In the spring of 2020 Stylie announced their entry into the American reggae scene with the release of their debut EP, Flyin’ High. The self produced album was released in via their independent label Dub Farm Records.

The following year in spring of 2021, Stylie released their first full length album entitled Blazin’ Round the World. Through 18 dubby tracks the band explores the concept of interstellar space reggae via their radio station 420 FM. Featured artists include Green Buddha, Amanda Juline, Luna Shade, and DJ BloodPreshah; all hailing from Colorado.

Traditional Stringband music is evolving like never before. Meadow Mountain is certainly part of that innovative trend, combining a wide range of influences with an astounding work ethic to produce really quality music that belies their age. But what sets this band apart is their distinct connection to all the best parts of traditional bluegrass, a connection that is increasingly rare among modern bands in this age of evolution. It's apparent in their astounding musicianship, their vocal harmonies, their songwriting, their attention to detail and the soulful tones that make bluegrass so unique. It doesn't define them, but it does set them apart. Meadow Mountain is crafting strong original music that represents bluegrass in the best possible way, and I couldn't be more proud of what we accomplished with this debut album. Big things are ahead for this excellent young band!

Forming in 2013, KR Nelson and Dustin Moran bring a genre-bending sound to folk-rock through their unique song arrangements and writing styles. From Gillian Welch to The Rolling Stones, the range of musical influences trickle through their music to create something fresh yet familiar. A kaleidoscope of sound, songs are interlaced with vocal harmonies and leads that alternate between the two songwriters. Each with perspectives on the relationships we have with ourselves and with others - bringing truths to the table, facing who we are, and the constant state of becoming. Dustin adds textured and ambient electric guitar, often improvising with jazzy temperance, over KR’s rhythmic acoustic. Having shared the bill with acts like Valley Queen, Michigan Rattlers, Liz Cooper & The Stampede, Paul Cauthen, and Dylan LeBlanc, their sound transcends ordinary genre limitations. Supported by the sonic landscape they create, you’ll be on a journey with Many Mountains.

Ryan Dart crafts personal narratives with equal measures swagger (the opening “Caught Up”) and sway (“Dance If You Want To”). Proof: Grow Toward the Light. The Colorado-based singer-songwriter’s excellent new album out July 2 2021 deftly backs buoyant originals (“Love Will Come Find You,” “Tragedy and Me”) with stunning covers of the timeless traditional “You Gotta Move,” the Rolling Stones (“No Expectations”) and Townes Van Zandt (“Colorado Girl”). “Townes is in my top five greatest songwriters of all time,” Dart says. “His ability to pour out heartbreak and honesty blows me away. ‘Colorado Girl’ paints the picture of longing to be back with the person you love after too much time on the road.”

Lost Penny originally formed as the duo, Dahlby & Nadine, born out of a local bluegrass jam in Estes Park, Colorado. They discovered they had a similar drive to make music and write songs. The first time they blended their voices, they knew they had a sound vibration that must be shared, and a playful energy not to be contained. Their songwriting contains clever lyrics with irony and metaphor, and their arrangement of old standards is refreshing.

The duo has recently enjoyed playing as a band with bassist and vocalist Steve Tice, as well as with the talented fiddle player, Jackson Earles. They are booking, trio or full band.

I live and make music in Lyons, Colorado.  A few years back I set up a studio at my home and started recording my songs and making them into albums.  My vision is to create hand crafted albums, personalized, rich with intention and care, limited in quantity and whenever possible imperfect.  Along the way I built a skateboarding halfpipe and started hosting concerts from it, I call it the Rampitheater.
I love guitars, skateboarding, painting and drawing, fly fishing, quiet time on the land, being with my wife and kids, a good fire in the wood stove, and taking in the stars at night.

Tyree Woods is an award winning singer songwriter as well as founder and frontman of the Steamboat Springs based SoulGrass band Buffalo Commons. Born and Raised in Muskegon Heights MI, he transplanted to Colorado by way of the US ARMY in 2006. As a highly decorated Combat soldier Tyree is a veteran of both love and war with 8 years of service including 2 combat tours.

Upon being injured during his last tour in 2012 Tyree was medically retired, and moved to the Yampa valley, where he reconnected with his life long passion of music, specifically songwriting.

The man behind the mile-wide smile is making real soul magic happen. Armed with a desire to share his story set to the tone of inspiration and hope, what Tyree is doing for our country now, his new mission, is reminding everyone of simple truths and doing it in a way that is inclusive, fortifying, and easily shared while being set to great music and pouring forth from an endless wellspring built out of experience.

Tyree is an up and coming fixture in the Colorado music scene that you will not want to miss.

The kitchen will stop taking orders at 7:30PM, so if you plan to eat dinner please plan on arriving and ordering by 7:30PM. We close the kitchen early for these shows to ensure the best sound quality (our kitchen hood is quite loud), and to ensure the audience is engaged with the artist and music.
